HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LINGERIE?
At Obsessive, we ensure our high-quality, timelessly designed products serve you
for as long as possible. Here are some valuable tips to help you take the best care of them.

Proper storage of your lingerie will not only preserve its properties but also enhance your comfort and save your time.
It is helpful to separate erotic nighttime lingerie from sexy daytime lingerie. Similarly, woven lingerie (e.g., bodystockings), erotic costumes, and accessories (e.g., masks, or crops) should have their own designated space. Special drawer organizers or elegant boxes can help keep your wardrobe tidy. Chemises and corsets are best stored flat, while peignoirs should be hung on hangers. Lay bras flat on top of each other with the cups facing up. For thongs and garter belts, find a solution that best suits your needs. Take special care of your stockings to avoid damaging their delicate structure.

Below are universal methods for washing most of our products. However, always follow the instructions on the label, as not every product is washable (e.g., nipple covers or whips). If you're unsure about any of the care icons, check their meanings.
The best way to wash our lingerie is by hand with similar colors in slightly warm water (20-30°C) using a gentle detergent. Special hand-washing liquids are available that are gentle on both your lingerie and your skin.
Hand washing is not difficult.
If you're not sure how to do it, follow these steps:

If you decide to use a washing machine, select an ultra-delicate program and place the items in a special laundry bag.
Wash the product before first use. Wash the elements of lingerie sets together to ensure their shades remain consistent. Don't "save" your favorite lingerie for special occasions; wear it and feel special every day! If stains appear, remember: the sooner you treat them, the better. Test any stain remover on an inconspicuous area first. Often, traditional methods work best, such as soaking in cold water or using gray soap.
After washing, gently squeeze out excess water or wrap the lingerie in a dry towel several times. Avoid using a tumble dryer, and refrain from drying your lingerie in direct sunlight or on radiators. The optimal method is to lay it flat on a traditional clothes dryer, with a towel underneath. Alternatively, hang bras by placing the bridge between the cups on a washing line or rod. Avoid hanging lingerie by the straps, as this can cause unnecessary stretching. Peignoirs should be dried immediately on a clothes hanger.

To iron lingerie, use a steamer or an iron on the lowest temperature setting, and always iron on the reverse side to prevent shiny marks.
Consider eco-friendliness: lingerie may not require ironing if, after washing, you gently shake it out (excluding bras), carefully hang it, and let it air dry naturally.
By caring for your lingerie properly, you can extend its lifespan. For minor repairs, rather than discarding your garments, consider repairing them yourself. Let's care for our clothes and our planet together.
Our nipple covers are reusable. After each use, clean the sticky side with a cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Then, reattach the protective film and store them in a closed, dry place to prolong their lifespan.

and other woven products
Bodystockings, garter stockings, and similar woven products are non-creasing items. Ironing could potentially harm their super-elastic properties.

In case it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth soaked in soapy water.

eco-friendly leather, and polyurethane materials
Hand wash at delicate temperatures. When ironing, use a steamer or iron on the reverse side at a low temperature.

Clean by wiping with a damp cloth soaked in soapy water.

Do not iron. High temperatures can damage their delicate fibers.

When caring for unusual lingerie accessories like a plastic mask with ears, a policewoman's hat, or a stethoscope, trust your intuition. In most cases, the safest method is to clean the product with a damp cotton cloth.
