Look Book, i.e. a short summary of a long photo shoot
Our product shoot has just finished. We worked mainly on material for our catalog, i.e. our look book. Three days of intense work at full blast, hundreds of shots, thousands of photos… New collections, new photograph quality, new way of presenting the products. All of this to celebrate the new and refreshed, but still very feminine side of Obsessive!
Male collection
It all started with coffee and makeup. After that, it was hard to find a moment of respite. On the first day, our model was Monika Gocman. On set, she was accompanied by her partner who took on the role of a… model. Exactly! Along with the new version we’re going for products for men as well. Soon, you can expect a collection for men from Obsessive.
Hard work
We worked for 10 hours that day. Throughout the day, you could mostly hear the photographer saying things like: “we’re doing a white background, a grey background, now a close-up, we’re shooting a clip…” – and this applied to each lingerie model. And over the span of 3 days we photographed 300 models… We had to work really fast. Monika posed all day. Mateusz ended his workday earlier, but if the men’s collection turns out to be a hit, he may have a lot more work next year. Despite the workload, the atmosphere on set was great, but we have to admit that towards the end everyone was just simply tired.
Magda Perlińska and Milena Lutrzykowska posed on the second day. Magda is our top model, she knows exactly how to pose for the pictures to come out perfect. Milena therefore had a great example and everything went very smoothly! Both models work together for other brands, which could be seen on set – good cooperation, understanding, and wonderful results. It was so nice to watch all the shots. What has been distinguishing our photo shoots for years is a well-matched team that creates a really friendly atmosphere every day. In that sense, the day of this photo shoot didn’t stand out from others.
Something new...
On Friday, the photo shoot set got very hot. It was the first photo session of this type at Obsessive. Mateusz returned to the set, joining Magda and Milena. We took casual shots in a completely different format than before – they bordered on athletic elegance and weren't defined by any dress code. We wanted to take the opportunity of this shoot to show our products in outfits that could be worn every day. On that day, we were supported by Dorota Williams – the main stylist from TVN (a Polish TV channel). Thanks to her tips and experience, we were able to come up with very interesting proposals for outfits, but also for shots. They turned out beautiful. Soon you’ll be able to see them on our new website and social media. You will also see the effects of our shoot in the new Autumn-Winter catalog, and trust us – they’re worth waiting for!
